Welcome to the Ben Franklin Junior High School website!

Junior High is such an important time for kids as they transition from the strong foundation of elementary school and start to think about their own interests and plans for their future. School changes to a place where they begin to make their own choices and pursue their goals and interests.  At Ben Franklin, we support a student-centered community with a staff that is committed to the growth of every child with engaging classes and high expectations.  

In addition to our core curriculum, Ben Franklin boasts facilities and elective offerings that allow students to have genuine experiences in art, business and computer science, family & consumer sciences, technical education & engineering, and agriculture.  Students can discover interests and career pathways that will translate to opportunities at SPASH. 

I welcome parent communication, dialogue, and participation. Parents can connect with me about any questions, concerns, or suggestions, and to offer to volunteer or help at school. The diversity of our families and your expertise and experiences in so many different things is a huge gift to the Ben Franklin community!

I strongly believe in Stevens Point Area Schools as a community school district, reflecting and representing the diversity of experience of the Stevens Point Area. I want all students to feel safe and at home in their school so they can do their best work and grow to their potential. We are better together and stronger through all the different experiences we bring to the learning community.
